RAF Waddington International Airshow 2009. The show was very sparsely attended in terms of participating aircraft compared to other years, and this was not helped by a large number dropping out in the week leading up to the show. Crowd numbers were high on both days due to the attendance of the Vulcan, but due to paperwork not being filed in a timely manner by the operators of the aircraft, it was not allowed to fly or taxy at all over the weekend.
I was fortunate enough to be granted unrestricted access to the western side of the airfield on the arrivals day, and the first batch of pictures were taken on that day.
