2008 saw the return to flight of Avro Vulcan XH558. The Vulcan has been under
restoration for a long time since its last flight in 1992. The restoration and
return to flight have been entirely publicly funded, with no Government money
involved. Large donations that helped make the job possible came from the
Heritage Lottery Fund & Sir Jack Hayward. Now that the Vulcan is airborne again,
the RAF's recruiting section has also made a donation towards the ongoing operation
of the aircraft.

These pictures were taken during the early flights from Coningsby & Waddington.

This page will be added to as more flights take place.
